Raised by parents of different nationalities and generations, she has long been interested in the idea of “boundaries” and the ways in which they shape identity, culture, and perception. During her studies, she focused primarily on early childhood education and cognitive science. After graduating and spending some time in Norway, she has continued to explore a wide range of fields, including cultural anthropology, evolutionary biology, linguistics, botany, food culture, folk songs and folklore, the cosmos, craftsmanship, care, outdoor culture, and fieldwork across the South Pacific islands.
